9/27: The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

It’s for the gentle ladies, too!

This year I will again ride in the annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember.

But like everything 2020, this will be different… this year, we’ll ride solo, together! It’s a bummer because this is one of my favorite events of the year. When else do you get to get all dapper and ride with a bunch of other spiffy folks? Check out the fun we had last year:

This global event usually takes place in cities all over the world on the same day, but this year they’re encouraging us to take out on our own socially-distanced rides.

And the Atlanta crew is so cool, our volunteer organizers have created a year-round team, The Gentry, to organize rides and awareness and funds all year. Shoutout to my friends and all-around cool guys, Eric “Dutch” Van De Steeg and Chris Liggett and the rest of the team who volunteer to organize us (not an easy task!)

Learn more on DRG’s site and join us, in ride, in spirit or in wallet! 🙂

WHY? Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I’m asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
